The Process
Assess. Plan. Harden. Maintain.
A four-step engagement built to hold up in the field — not a laminated checklist that ends after the inspection.
Assess
On-site or virtual walkthrough of the structure, its ignition-vulnerable details, and the first 100 feet around it. You get a written, photographed report with prioritized findings.
The assessment isn't a checklist — it's a specific accounting of every ignition pathway. Vents, roof edge, deck, siding, windows, propane placement, woodpile location, ladder fuels, canopy spacing, and every combustible against the structure.
Plan
A tailored mitigation plan — Zone 0/1/2 defensible space, structural retrofits, and product specs — sequenced by risk reduction per dollar.
The plan is phased so you can implement in stages without leaving gaps in protection. Highest-impact items first (usually vents and Zone 0), then structural retrofits, then broader vegetation work.
Harden
Sourcing and guidance for ember-resistant vents, Class A roofing, non-combustible siding, and 2027-code-ready materials.
Products are specified to fit the assessment — with alternatives at multiple price points. Contractor coordination is available when you want it.
Maintain
Seasonal checks so the perimeter stays effective — Zone 0 debris, gutter clearing, vegetation regrowth, and product condition.
Wildfire mitigation isn't one-and-done. Zone 0 in particular needs continuous attention. We can schedule seasonal follow-ups or hand you a maintenance checklist calibrated to your property.
